As a lifelong cyclist, Patrick “Mojo” Walker, has had the pleasure of turning a love of all things cycling into what is today buythemojo.

What’s with the name buythemojo? (yep, it’s a bit different – we know)

As an avid mountain biker living in the mountains of Colorado during the early 1990s, Patrick earned the nickname “Mojo” after becoming one of the first in the area to climb aboard an Ibis Cycles Mojo steel hardtail mountain bike. It was during the rise of the sport of mountain biking and after a particular West Coast swing of the NORBA National Mountain Bike Series that a friend coined the nickname Mojo. The name stuck and the rest, as the saying goes, is history. 

Bringing that same joy from the freedom and satisfaction that earned Patrick the name “Mojo”, to everyone, is the goal at buythemojo.
